About the Villa

La Chulinga, a haven of south american charm, is nestled on the Margaritan island, Guayamuri and Matasiete mountains with the Caribbean laid out at it's feet. The secluded villa with surrounding cabanas, hides behind white washed walls, allowing for complete seclusion on a stretch of unspoilt coastline. The carefully planned layout and simply decorated interiors offer the visitor a quiet luxury whilst exuding a south american elegance.

As you walk through the open plan main house and onto the deck, you are hit with quite the "buena vista". The canvas of palm-tree green stretches from left to right and the sea and sky battle for shades of blue. In the foreground, the infinity pool curves it's way around your feet making it hard to resist it's seduction.

This hideaway makes no secret of the fact that it is built for entertaining. With two dining tables - inside and outside - and a bespoke barbecue station to cook up the fresh fish of the day, going hungry will hardly be an option.

Whether swinging in one of the many hammocks, picking fresh bananas from the trees or whiling away the hours in the antique linen day bed, the hardest decision any guest will have to make is where to sip their cocktails.
